Let me introduce myself
Hi. I am Nikita.

Visual design
A makeup artist, a newsroom assistant and a designer. That's one wild business card. But if I were to sum it up, I would just say I am a visual designer.

I can DIY that
I call myself a visual designer because describing myself solely as a UX designer or a brand designer feels too limiting. Don’t get me wrong, I have experience in both UX and UI, and genuinely enjoy working in those fields. I specialized in strategic branding though. I like to think of myself as someone who feels at home in many different roles, and enjoys connecting them to create thoughtful, cohesive work.
Outside of design, you’ll usually find me reading, drawing, or at the gym. I’m also passionate about photography and love experimenting with analogue printmaking techniques. Risograph printing has been a favourite of mine for the past few years, and more recently I’ve been getting into lino printing as well. I simply love making things, and I’m always looking for new creative outlets.
My toxic trait? Seeing something on Instagram and immediately convincing myself I can DIY it. The result is an arts-and-crafts closet that's (at all times) one project away from collapsing.
If you'd like to get in touch (or see more of my work and behind-the-scenes experiments) you can find me on Instagram: @sojainkt.
